I have mixed feelings about Disney’s “Pocahontas.” On one hand, it’s got great art style and animation (which Disney 2D animation movie doesn’t?), and it has a couple of good songs. On the other hand, it’s got a bunch of sub-par songs and takes some drastic creative liberties. That said, I’ve only seen it once when it came out so maybe I haven’t given it much of a chance. Regardless, I’d rather watch a polka concert than to see that movie again.
Check that. I’d rather see “Home Alone” for the umpteenth time just to watch John Candy as Gus Polinski The Polka King of the Midwest!
