After creating this comic, someone close to me had this exact dilemma: she was offered a new job yet was torn between taking the new one or staying where she was.
After some soul-searching and weighing of pros and cons, she decided to stay with her job. Strangely, she read this comic and mentioned how it mirrored her own situation. That said, I doubt her employer would konk her over the head with a club for taking the new job. That’s something only an ogre would do!
