For those of you who are young, we used to have our phones at home (now referred to as “landlines”). And, because we had them in our homes when something went wrong, a technician from the telephone company might visit our house.
In addition, roughly 40 years ago, a song was released by a band named New Edition and it was titled “Mr. Telephone Man.”
