What is “Two Dogs in a Pub?” It’s a comic about two dogs in a pub. No surprise there.
One dog is named Choop. He’s slightly more sensible than the other, chubbier dog whose name is Hippo. That’s about the size of it.
That brief description above was how I presented the comic to the syndication companies in the packet I sent to them. I felt that it was better to be simple than complicated.

Characters
Hippo is short, round, and a step behind. He wants the simple things in life: love, a good job, and more food.
He’s good at finding food, not so good at finding the other two things. He works as a temp but nothing seems to stick. As for love, he puts the “hopeless” in “hopeless romantic.”
Choop is slightly more sensible than Hippo, which isn’t saying much.
He does, however, have a job. For many years now, he has worked as a cashier in a grocery store. It’s not challenging and it pays the bills. Good enough.
